That is mainly because school and friends take a lot of time out of my day. You are right, she didn't need to eat humans till now. That is because I didn't want to make her eat humans when she is 4. So she needed a 'trigger' to make her start eating humans and use the full extent of her Quirk but I will explain that in the next chapter.
