It's something about those empty eyes with glowing pupils hungering for souls and their emaciated bodies with the disgusting veiny patch on the side of their chest. And the smell, oh god the smell is so horrible. It's like someone filled a dumpster with decaying corpses and set it on fire. And if I remember correctly the majority of hollows smell like this.
