This confuses me. Mother Chen is so loving of Chen Mi and around the time the kangs were built it was stated that Mi was treated well by his mom which made me wonder how he ended up with original Yu Dong. Then in the chapter right before this one it's stated that Chen Mi was purchased from the slave market. These two things are not adding up for me
When Yu Dong heard her mention Mother Chen, another round of headaches started. Yes, that's right, she has to send word to her mother-in-law as well. Who knows, maybe her coffin will rise before the sedan chair carriers could bring the bridegroom. - Bibbity10mthCommented
