Amazing book! Had to read all the way to the end that’s how captivated I was🥹🥹❤️! There’s so much love, drama and action in this. The evil people actually get their retribution from hurting so many others. It took a second life for the protagonist to see what she was blind to and she used her gifts well! Top of the list read.

You make no sense she was just always a greedy individual. She’s just an ambitious person trying to bite the hands that feed her. The grandfather did treat her with affection but he made sure to let her know of her situation. A lot of people think too much of themselves and are delusional when not warned. Some people are just very greedy, It’s in their blood. She was warned as a child so that when the real person comes she doesn’t throw a fit and act all aggrieved with vengeance. The grandfather definitely needed to have affection towards her for her to be living luxurious like that with no care in the world. Not only that but he kept her around for someone who was adopted cuz he feels grateful for her. Your comment makes no sense. I’ve seen instances in stories where they don’t warn the one who gets adopted and they try to kill the real one when they come back out of nowhere due to spite. Regardless she was always going to be a bad person never grateful just greedy
