Lol I’m 2 years late, but when you can see other’s original intentions, it can be easier to understand what and why things happened, and why people reacted to it all the way they did. Of course that doesn’t make their actions any more okay, it can just help people be more understanding, forgiving (not everyone deserves to be forgiven though), and/or get closure for what has happened so they can move on.

I was pretty excited to read this but now it seems as though the MC is a pushover. It’s not that it’s not okay but it’s annoying how the lady had just called him her mount, used magic on him and then had the nerve to call it a joke. In the future I wouldn’t be surprised if the MC became the country’s dog. 😕

I don’t really feel bad because she did that to herself. Although she is probably strong she was risking her friend’s lives and was treating war like a game. 🙁
Of course, the least happy person was Niya. She had tried gathering her friends to form a small squadron to follow Granden to the frontline, but was rejected. She had gone to Saul but hadn’t received any favorable news. After that, she was isolated by her friends. As the daughter of an archmage, all of her friends were children of nobility as well, and no one wanted to see their children go to war. Some kids were locked in their homes, while others were sent back to their fiefdoms. In the end, Niya had lost most of her friends, and her unhappiness was evident even when she went out on her walks. On top of that, she had to face Anfey every day at home. Although Anfey had never blamed her for anything, she felt too embarrassed to face him. Okay I have lost all hope in him being a trustworthy side character. If he ends up being on Tilly and her family’s side then I’m going to try and ignore him because I acually have been enjoying this book but I honestly don’t care if he suddenly turns good because he made the main characters suffer when they only want to live happily together. 😞

I feel bad for her but at the same time I feel like she deserves it? Like if the princess and the FL were friends before couldn’t she just ask the FL to break the bind because before the FL was said to have a big crush on the emperor and she might have been happy to do so after some hesitation? But if that happened then we wouldn’t be reading the wonderful story we have so nevermind. 😅
