they did in ancient greece but if you read what i wrote, that has been severed by the gods since the rebellion of the demigods and they strictly forbid anyone from finding out.

they do not have any access to magic especially higher magic that deals with the Immortal Essence, the gods keep thats shit locked down. hence no way to destroy a monster. didnt you read the story? its quite a big part of it

the gods are selfish and lazy. if there were no benefits to do it they wont do it

later on it becomes really useless. so the people for who it will be useful cant craft them, while for those who can craft it would find it useless

well they are immortal gods that are allowed to forever live in security and wealth as well as obtaining supernatural powers and magic. they dont need to eat or drink and they live in a divine kingdom with the ability to have divine servants and elementals obey their every whim.
