I hate when stories put this kind of trope in. The love of his life has to go somewhere else for a reason then the MC hears about how they got engaged to another person. It makes my chest tighten and I get anxious. I know it’s not real and that the MC will somehow get to the bottom of the happenings but the longer it gets dragged out the more anxious I become. I’m gonna just stop reading this for a bit so it can build up chapters. I hope the author doesn’t make this last long.
