I'll tell you how he is weak, he routinely allows sentiment to cloud his judgment compared to canon. He is not as dark, ruthless or nearly pragmatic. As of matter of fact Daemon in canon is a Valyrian Supremacist who believes wholeheartedly in the blood and history he possesses and if given his wish would love nothing more than resurrect Valyria. There is not one single way that I have found that the Daemon in this fic is better than canon, or more ruthless or more of a villain. If anything he's softer, do you need any more?
