You’re reading from an Eastern-style platform, which can be a bit challenging at times for English only readers. It might be worth exploring a more Western approach to see if that suits your style better aka archiveofourown

I really enjoyed this novel. The writing style feels distinctly Eastern, yet it’s presented in a Western background, which makes the blend of cultures especially interesting. While it’s not meant to be a comedy, I found some of the protagonist’s overly serious moments unintentionally funny. Overall, it’s one of the better Chinese-to-English novels I’ve read. Once you get past the first couple of somewhat unrealistic “orphan” plot elements, the story becomes engaging and well worth continuing. Still don't know who MC's family are.
should create a slip mould, you have cement.
she gonna fix that spell... one to stop those with bad intentions?
so.....what happened to the spell that would reject those with impure intentions? looks like she stuffed it up
Well-paced storytelling events unfold, evolve and move forward without dragging strong world building later chapters hint at broader horizons and future travel, showing the author intends to move beyond the MC original city/country. clear character reference Pronoun usage is spot on. not confused about who is who, I know the male character is a man easy to read The writing style is easy to understand no complex language or pacing issues Feels original and planned out I am willing to pay for chapters when I know this is the author's work, higher chance of this being a web novel original as more chapters are available on this site then online. room for improvement the MC's personality doesn't evolve much. the story heavily focuses on him getting stronger but not on him learning to be less abrasive. a bit of humility or emotional growth in some way would make him more relatable and layered.
