I feel like it's the key to being a sage. Everything up to now has had something to work on. Squire is the body, master is the mind. Then logically, since the physical form is already at its limit by the end of the master level, the next step is working on something intangible like the soul. So if this gives some kind of soul training, it may help with the Sage breakthrough.

I feel like it's similar to how some scientists say the Earth goes through cycles. However, they last millions of years. Technically... The ice age never ended. We're still going through it.
