how dare you come back from a perfectly reasonable, and probably needed vacation, and only give one chapter. lol. glad you're back, been fiending for your story to continue!

So, I've tried and tried to get over it, but there are some serious overreactions in this book, imo. the kids I get kinda, they're hormonal, but the way his mom blows up on him over every little thing is tiring. his ineptitude for relationships or understanding others feelings is getting grating, I'm all for character growth, but good god its slow going here. Idk, I think I'm just ready for the highschool bit to be over.

expanding on what I wrote above, why not delve into young justice? get him out of supermans shadow and into his own adventures, on a smaller scale.

This goes a bit with my comment in the improvement section, but there are some things that are super unclear or seem to have been lost somewhere along the way, like his reincarnated memories. the dudes in his 50's mentally and acting like a love struck teenager. If John Henry was aware of that chicks weirdness, why didn't he warn clark or jake beforehand? I get plot needed to give him a powerup, but that could have been done in many ways, for example, using his connection to earth as a calling for him to reach out to the sun. If you want to go the more slice of life route, I'd like to see his relationship develop there. also, another major criticism, for me, is the age inconsistency. how old are his brothers? when he was a baby, his brother was old enough to hold him and play with him, but I think you stated recently he's only a year older. Its also my impression that this is several seasons into louis and clark the show, so how old is jonothan? You seemed to indicate he may be in college or away from home, but then he's back and acting like a teen with his brothers. so I'm a bit confused there.

Here I say, start with events or enemies/groups from the comics/tv shows/etc. you've already shown that the flash and the arrow are in the same universe, so why not have him help barry with some of their shenanigans, or have arrow or felicity ask for his help on an investigation, etc. The hole I see people fall into all the time with superman type FF is that they feel like all events they deal with have to be world ending, forgetting that even in the comics, a lot of supermans time is spent in the tower with justice league, or hanging out with a kid he saved on earth or just flying around and helping random people.

Some things could be more clear. Examples from earlier chapters: why'd they let him participate even though he should have be 7 or so? what happened to his past life memories? why is he acting like a normal teenager if he has those? did he ever tell louis and clark, it seemed like he wanted to as a child? these are things that seemed to veer from the original tone and stated goals of the MC.

DO NOT EXPAND IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS ON WHO IT IS! . . . . . . . . . . It's howard. I bought the patreon just to figure it out on whether I was dropping this or not. You're welcome.

Again, I don't disagree. I'm just saying reading it and letting it drone on is boring as hell in my opinion and if that means changing some personalities, I can bypass it as an AU or something.
