It'll probably not let you die. But it'll surely give you a lot of hardship along the way.
A true man, but she won't be happy after returning. Unless Ansel can save the day with the powers of the heroines to save his father which again goes against the will of fate. And Ansel has already given up.
Yup, over-thinking has always been a boon for the brilliants. It's well established already. Fate wants to change the empire for the better but won't give it without hardship & sacrifice. It is my theory, I think fate has to be fair to everyone for it to medle with reality. So giving it's champion (hero/heroines) ultimate power must come with some consequences like having them face hardship. Ansel who already faced enough hardship already, if somehow there is a future where Ansel brings that change, fate will definitely choose him as it's champion. Whether he gets much more powerful or not, it might not matter to fate as long as it can achieve the desired future.
Good
Yeah, to gain control of the board again assuming fate can't interfere with the world physically .
I hope she'd succeed, as it'd help Ansel become optimistic again. But this can also play just as fate wanted. Initially fate wanted Ansel to be the hero, he was also going towards that direction until fate killed his mother. And heroes become heroes through sacrifices and hardships, fate gave it to him without realising Ansel got memories from a certain traveler. I think fate never fumbled so hard in her entire existence. It'd be really interesting to have her personified and watch her reaction. It'd be so much fun, she'd be clicking her tongue every time she fails and doesn't get why she's failing, lol.
Yeah, you killed your mother by mistake and you can't live with that failure. Imagine killing your father, but this time it'd be deliberate. Good luck sleeping without having nightmares.
What responsibility are we talking about!
She's half delulu herself. He needs other pact heads for increasing the chance of success.
Ansel trigger word, fate and destiny. Utter them and you're finished.
He was pretty unstable back then, losing his mother, despite knowing beforehand caused him to trust nobody. After meeting Seraphina he's become somewhat stable enough to build relationships again.
Ansel be like
Betrayal according to her
He'd save her if possible but would not sacrifice himself is what I'm getting from this.
