I don't like ark too. Too rigid, inflexible abt his own beliefs. TBH, I don't even like ves character. He's incredibly self-centred and constantly in denial abt his personal issues. I like his brilliance though and his creativity. I don't like Gloriana as well but I like the mech touch plot and storyline. A lot of unexpected twists and turns in the story

yup. it will be at least 12 chapter more for this side arc. Maybe exlor might inform us of what ves ate for breakfast during this mech design tournament.

If I rem correctly, it was stated that the tower of babel was the only warship that survived the retaliation from the MTA and that was why the ship was hiding in the dwarf star. In other words it was a fleet of warships that defeated Perian's fleet, not just one ship.

Could it be possible that another 20 extra expert pilots appear during the attack? All of these still a trap to destroy the hexers and Ves?

Going by past experience in mech touch, everything is going too smoothly. My guess is that the 4 other states do not do anything but Konsu launches a surprise counter attack after their successful expedition. This fits into how exlor always puts a twist into his story. The fact that he has not mentioned abt konsu is a red flag to me. its my guess.

its almost an entire filler chapter. Should only take 3 to 4 paragraphs to describe the visual flair of the mech.
