and it's better because it builds tension, why do you think horror movies are always more terrifying when you never see the monster? it's because our imaginations create far more horrifying things than what can be written or shown. fear of the unknown is inbuilt within all of us hence why it makes things increasingly interesting rather than it being handed out to us.
thanks for sharing your opinion, I respect it and I'm not saying you're wrong nor am I trying to put you down. I also agree to some of your points such as world building & personal growth but I beg to differ about building anticipation by revealing what the antagonist / antagonists are doing because it takes away from the tension built by the unknown because the unknown is always more frightening,
I *believe* it's likely that noah's black hole will evolve with his body. I also think that he chose a crowded area so he can use them as an energy source for his black hole hence why he told them not to leave before he came out also I believe that the next few chapters will not be about him and will be involving either divine demon & June's group or the human supremacists reaction to Noah's pack and the snakes actions against the crystal city. I selfishly hope it will focus only Noah until he finishes evolving. I'm the type of person with the preference being 90% focusing of the main character and the remaining 10% being about the world, antagonists and side characters. because that way I can get the feeling of seeing things from the protagonists perspective, knowing what they know and feeling what they feel. If the story strays to far from the main character's point of view it makes me feel like I'm some omnipresent being from the stories perspective and it makes it boring. I want to discover things along side the protagonist, not knowing what's going to happen before them for instance the antagonist is going to set a trap for the protagonist i want to feel the anxiety, fear, hate and rage as they overcome said trap and if I know what's going to happen beforehand it just makes the whole situation pointless to me because it becomes lacklustre. Anyways if you read to this point thank for reading my rant and have a lovely day.
