The beginning of the novel is a little similar to “little tyrant doesn't want to meet with a bad end”, the whole scene of the mc feeding his sister is probably inspired by it though , they’re quite different as things develop though(Little Tyrant has a smaller harem and focuses a bit more into politics and conspiracies, the mcs whole powerset is also the type that makes him op in a fight but useless for a long time after it)
So am I the only one that finds the rejection kinda weird(the details, not that it happened)? She says she’s pregnant from “Mizuki”, I presume the mc was unaware of that, but it’s weird that there’s no comment over who the guy is at all given how close the mc says he was to the girl, also worth notice how violent her rejection of him is even though she’s supposedly friendly to him(I’m giving some credence to the mc’s perception since he was objective about his own mother’s reactions to him)
It’s because the author tried to pull off a gender reveal with the English language, so they needed neutral pronouns(it sounds weird but the use of they/them in the singular becomes an officially recognized neutral pronoun), this is one of those things that would work better in a different language
The main cause I can see for this butterfly effect is Horeo going to pick up Miri and Zoemi: because of that the second prince arrived before him and inadvertently stole the first event, leaving future ramifications of Horeo’s route aside, this means the second prince got involved in the story way sooner than he should, which is why he’s getting involved now
It’s good(I read all the free chapters so I slowed down on that one) only weird thing is the names of characters being food-related(which to be fair it’s a joke on it being an otome game world with fruit and sweets theme), another thing to note is that as far as I understood the girl is not the main villainess, but a minor character specifically meant to give bad treatment to her subordinate(mc) and then lose him to the heroine
Well, it’s pretty fool proof as far as abilities go since it blocks abilities, not their activation, but I can see someone burying him into debris if he is not careful(it helps that he’s not telling his max range, but it shouldn’t be that hard to find out), I guess the reason he’s honest about it is that his ability isn’t really complex enough to hide, everything he can do can be determined by entering his range so hiding is useless
