One has to be flexible, you have to do everything you can to protect your people while still accomodating ridiculous demands from the higher ups and VIPs. Sigh I truly do love Mag and Amy but the abuse the poor kitten recieves from Amy and neglect from Mag is horrendous! Mag is spoiling his daughter way too much imo! There’s a limit to being a doting father when your daughter flash freezes your pet with no warning or explanation. Not to mention potentially burning it to death afterwards. Yes she later explains her practice on the crow, but I find it unrealistic that Mag had such a relaxed attitude at animal abuse, especially by his 4-year old.

I love Protagonists such as Mag! Intelligent and Reasonable in daily life. Kind and Caring to his friends. Ruthless and Pragmatic to his enemies. Such a good father to Amy and a great boss to his workers!

Dang... you know a story is incredible when you notice you are sobbing and emotional after reading a chapter that JUST introduced a new character... 🥺

The Demons and Devils are definately influenced by D&D. Chaotic evil demons living in an endless abyssal plane fighting against each other forever. Lawful evil devils living in a strictly regulated 9-layered plane scheming against each other until a greater threat presents itself.

Ahhh I just cant stop reading!!! Such a good story with amazing characters, plot and humor! All the references, tropes and wall breaks are genius! The WoW and D&D influences especially appreal to me as well! Bravo sir! BRAVO!

These “other” perspective chapters are my absolute favorites! Seeing how other people (normal OR gentleman) see Roland and his companions is so refreshing! From the regular chapters, we get tricked by how normal and comedic these group of gentlemen act, especially when our resident Lich scolds them or facepalms at their antics. Not to mention Roland hImself always stating that he is normal and a good person. But these rare “other” perspective chapters highlights to us how powerfully abnormal, terrifying and special Roland and his followers are to the rest of the world!
