It just scares me that Destiny is in danger whenever she is with him. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad for him to walk away from the family business. 😕

Plus, I really feel something is strange with Samuel that I just don't trust, but Nio is also holding back truth about what his family does. Oh no!!! there were red flags, Destiny... Those initial doubts and warnings she was feeling should be a sign to just keep him as a friend. We get warnings and signals all the time and sometimes choose to ignore them, which leads to some of our biggest mistakes or little ones... I am hoping this is just a little one. Destiny is covered, though. her faith is so strong that she's walking with full coverage. God power 24/7 😊

Wow... it's one thing after another with Nio's men and the struggle in that life... How about Nio's mother's voice during prayer. She was letting him know how strong prayer is and how powerful it can be he just has to do it. It will help him with all that he is struggling with. Sometimes, you have to let go and let God.

Rejection has always had a negative stigmatism to it, but in actuality from rejection comes change and strength and building of confidence. Without rejection, there wouldn't be a reason for self reflection and awareness. I experienced rejection once, and it was for the better. Back when my relationship with God was at its best, he knew something better was around the corner for me.

Wow... every chapter gets better and better. I feel so bad for Nio. to be so powerful, but at the same time trapped and unable to make the decisions he wants to make. Destiny, all I can say is time is needed.

This is my beginning review, and so far, I am intrigued and deeply involved with both main characters' stories. Destiny's headstrong religious background and Nio's mafia ties and the strong connection between the two. i want to know the backgrounds and can't wait for new chapters to come up. i am even interested in all the supporting characters, especially the American, there is a story there and i can't wait to read about it. The story keeps you wanting more. i will give a mid review then final. Right now, for some reason the book won't load, but I'll try later I can't wait to continue. 😉

That last little bit brought tears to my eyes. That was difficult to read. 😪

I see Sam didn't make it. Maybe if she had made it through her wounds, she would have had some type of epiphany and became a better person. Makes me wonder, though, why did the Russian target and kill Sam if he knows Nio's heart truly lies with Destiny. He had to know Sam was just a marriage of convenience, an arrangement between to klans. He is definitely toying with Destiny. All these little gifts are definitely not from Nio. They are from him.

Wow... I wonder who sent the text message. 🤔 Why would someone involve her in any harm. That is so funny, I didn't realize that her father was gone. I had to go back. I thought he was there when she went home for the holidays. funny how your mind automatically inserts things that you believe are automatic constants. I believe God doesn't harm even those that harm when he exacts revenge. At least, that is what I want to believe. I believe he puts us through trials and lessons to learn from first.

Poor Nio... To have to give up on what he wants due to his families wishes. Love the new look for Destiny's hair. Avelina and Destiny hit it off. They had a cute exchange. the ending left me breathless. I can't wait to find out what happened at home. I'm glad Nio and Avelina both got out before it all happened.

I really think the step mom forged a fake will. The real one is probably with someone special to the father, and the step mom is secretly paying the lawyers to lie to Nio. It is horrible how some families use their kids for their own purposes, if that's the case. He clearly would like to venture onto something with Destiny, but he has the troll already as a ball and chain around his throat choking him 🙄 Poor Nio 🤦🏽‍♀️
