True. I'm new to writing via webnovel, so formatting is a bit lacking atm. Still, I've recently switched from writing chapters on docs to writing them in inkstone, so we'll see how that plays out.
I don't want to reveal too much about God and have him come off as more myth than "man" in some of these earlier chapters. Still, he's kind of a hypocrite. The world is designed to punish humanity for reasons that are spoilers, so he doesn't view them as deserving of the same privileges that he gets. This entails things such as sexual entertainment.
The grammar can make some of the subject matter a little hard to grasp at times. Despite this, the world is well described by the author’s superb vocabulary. The author is also really good at building tension.
Nice to know you enjoyed it! I don't plan on having every single chapter be focused completely on action, I swear. It's just that this is a particularly harry situation for the protagonist and his new ally. I do have a lot planned out for this world after this first arc/mini-arc ends.
Alr alr. I’l have to consider how the moon would affect world building. I’d always considered how the politics affected the world, but hadn’t gotten to the point of considering the moon. I’l take note of this.
Thank you for reading. This is my first web novel, so it's a little wonky in some areas. I'm confused by the question about the pen though, lol.
It's great to hear that you liked my story. Chapter 2 is coming out Friday at noon EDT. I like to do these on a weekly schedule bc school and other life stuff. It also helps me focus on quality as I usually find writing these things and coming back to them a day or so later. That's where most of my best writing comes from. The author has a very satisfying way of describing small details. They do a great job at painting out the environment for the reader in not just painting a mental picture but creating a mood. The author is also great at describing how characters feel and putting you in their bodies. This also comes in handy when it comes to action scenes, the sheer violence of some of it really showing through in their descriptions. The attention to detail all works to make the protagonist feel small. The immersive descriptions of everything really just work for making this world feel real. Definitely worth the read.
Thank you so much! I'm releasing weekly just bc of general life stuff. Still, I have plans for this to be a pretty long-running series and have planned plot points for multiple arcs.
Thank you! I'm going to take that into account for next week's chapter. I was actually pretty nervous uploading as this is my first webnovel (or piece of writing I've shared with strangers). I will also work on improving my description for the next chapter as pacing was one thing I was worried about going into this
