wait a second, if weavers mask reverses the wearers flaw. Then weaver, being an entity who's entire existence as a daemon is a God's flaw, would be reversed by wearing the mask. so if weaver is the demon of fate, they would know the truth of many things. So if their mask was a created to be their greatest weapon, the ability to decieve others and instead of perceiving fate, to change it. Thus the ability to see strings of fate (using the mask) would give them a massive advantage. It likely was created in the wake of losing their eye to the Vile Thieving bird.

For all the readers out there who are just now catching up to the end of the Webnovel translation. My condolences two years ago I too grieved, I had been an active reader with this novel since it's 13th chapter. Then it abruptly ended right along with my hopes of seeing a quality English translation. There are more great stories out there. Another of similar length is "Rise of the Undead Legion" by Baiko. If you wish to embark on longer journeys perhapse check out The Legendary Mechanic or the still being written (but maybe not by the time you catch up HAHA! hopefully it will still be tho) Shadow Slave by Guiltythree (which im currently reading).
