Yes, all sharks do this. In addition to the ammonia content in the meat they are also not considered food because of the mercury content that is above safe levels. Mercury poisoning is not a joke. You could eat it in a pinch but probably shouldn't. I've never heard it described as tasty like that, but you do you. At least it wasn't wasted.

At one point, I decided to taste shark meat. With my enormous jaws, it wasn't difficult to swiftly capture it. However, after the first bite of raw flesh, I became concerned. I started worrying about potential parasites in the food and how it might affect my health. Though these were just thoughts, I convinced myself that it was merely sushi from a Japanese restaurant and managed to swallow the shark whole. The taste was decent, indicating that I wasn't a herbivorous creature. Nevertheless, one shark was enough for me; it was merely an experiment, and I decided not to eat anyone else.

There's no such thing as grey in star wars. You can have a more humane attitude than the jedi but experimenting with the dark side has almost never ended well in the entire SW canon. Why every SI under the sun thinks they know better and can avoid all side effects is a mystery.

    Yet, what utter shit.

To be honest both the republic and the jedi are thoroughly rotten at this point which is one of the reasons Palpatine was so successful. Palpatine caused a bunch of atrocities but also in a sick way was good for the galaxy. Without him and his empire the galaxy would have stood no chance against the yuuzhan vong for instance. Simply defeating him and the sith plan is not a happy ever after scenario.

    Nope, no way.

Definitely would have went with 4 years old in this position. It's old enough to have some self-agency and skip the most embarrassing stage of acting like a baby and learning basic language but not waste years of early education. 8 is almost as old as Anakin and on the fringe of what the jedi would accept and isn't very advantageous.

If it was anyone other than Naruto the village's treatment would have completely ruined their "weapon" without any benefits. Either from a practical or emotional pov it doesn't make sense at all.

Fujin thought, 'Since Naruto didn't eat the ration bars, cheap instant ramen was probably all he could afford anyway. Though Hiruzen wants to avoid any suspicions, Naruto's secret is out in the open anyway. Nearly every adult in the village hates him. And, there is no way that there isn't a single spy in the village who doesn't know why that is. Does he still need to be so stingy?

Who can tell without testing the waters first? Jiraiya obviously makes quite a bit of money from his his writing.

Training is important but he also needs money for experimental tools as well as some way to relax. Drawing accomplishes both so it's not wasted.

What exposure? They should already know about it.

Fujin decided, 'It's time to retreat. But running away from him will be difficult if he doesn't intend to let us off. Even though I'm faster at escaping, the other 3 won't be able to shake him off. Sigh, I'll have to expose my summons as well.'

Danzo seemed to always be quite hawk-ish and ruthless, but he wasn't as off the rails without a bottom line until his later years from what we see. I'm curious how this will go; will MC be a moderating influence on Danzo through a more normal teacher-student relationship or have to kill him for self protection later?

I know that, but for the purposes of Naruto kenjutsu still falls under taijutsu among the 3 major techniques(ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu). Taijutsu in Naruto is simply any martial technique that optimizes human abilities; ie any martial arts. It's not just hand to hand.

I guess the main reason for this is how rarely I use Taijutsu in combat. Generally, my sword gives a far better result. And when I do use it, it's just a chakra enhanced punch or kick to win the fight or gain an advantage. Modifying the Assassin's Rush jutsu will aid, but the improvement will just be on top of my basic Taijutsu which needs improvement desperately.'

While clever skills are important, I'd take a large advantage of strength and speed over skills any day. Also, sword skills fall under the umbrella of taijutsu as well.

Information is important, but it can be countered by simply doing one thing to the extreme so that the information can't be used. Just like Minato; Iwa knew his abilities fairly well but they were still helpless and told their ninjas to just run away if they ran into him. Developing new techniques is useful, but lateral improvement can't be compared to vertical improvement in his basic strength imo.

What I need to do is keep working on it consistently and keep upgrading it. My speed of developing new styles needs to be faster than my enemy's speed of countering my fighting style. Only then I can truly avoid such scenarios.

Starting to get tired of it myself. I initially liked that this was a bit more serious, but Fujin is turning out to be a bit of a sociopath. I thought there would be some character development but nope. It doesn't matter how well others treat him he always thinks about how he can use them before anything. Over 300 chapters now and I don't think there is a single person he is really friends with.

Sigh, I hope I can come up with something good enough to influence a few people. Otherwise, the only way would be a curse seal.'

Still a mystery as to why he even wants his own organization. Fujin has actually been treated pretty well by Konoha and he even has a not small chance of becoming Hokage if he wants. Unless there's some mystery goal that isn't being said it doesn't make sense.

I need to come up with a similar ideology to ensure the loyalty of my members. But… though it seems simple, it is very difficult. After all, what fuels this ideology is the sacrifice of the previous generations. If the older generations don't sacrifice themselves for the next generation, then this ideology will collapse in no time.

It's not for taste but because of the springy texture it adds to the soup it's used for and tradition. Even though substitutes now exist rich people and food snobs in China(and other south-eastern Asian countries) pay a premium to have authentic shark fin even though it doesn't really add anything taste-wise to the soup. It can be replaced with imitation shark fin made with agar-agar and you probably wouldn't even notice the difference.

Rasengan has it's uses, but it's not that useful to Fujin outside of as a control exercise. Using his swords with wind chakra are much more lethal the majority of the time, and doesn't use nearly as much chakra. That's also not to mention that Fujin would be unable to explain where he learned it and it not being worth the possible suspicion.

The eight gates are always overestimated in fanfiction. If it was really as useful as fanfiction makes it out to be then it would be a lot more widespread and used. Physical fitness is only one limiting factor, but it's also hinted that you can't use ninjutsu while using the gates. Which would make sense considering it's removing limits on the chakra network in the body which undoubtedly screws with control. So it's useful for Gai and Lee but not someone like Fujin that depends on ninjutsu so much. Same reason Kakashi can use the first few gates and doesn't bother in any fights. Learning it would be a lateral improvement, but it's not going to take him to a higher level.

The above two methods will need time as well but they are the ones I am most confident in achieving. However, if I'm not able to learn Senjutsu or Flying Thunder God, then they won't allow me to reach the top of this world. That would leave me with just one option. Learning Eight Inner Gates from Guy…'

This has a canon answer. Jutsu are ranked by how hard they are to learn rather than strength or any other reasons. Even though generally speaking a higher ranked jutsu would be more powerful, it's not always the case.

A thoughtful expression appeared on Fujin's face as he thought, 'I used to think that the more destructive or complicated a jutsu is, the higher ranked it'd be. However, now that doesn't seem to be the case. After all, in terms of pure destructiveness, none of the rank A jutsus I read is anywhere near as destructive as Infinite Breakthrough jutsu.

The fin is almost entirely cartilage; it doesn't have that problem. It hardly has any taste at all.

Well they aren't completely without predators, but it's certainly rare. Orcas and nile crocodiles will occasionally eat them. As for human consumption the urea in the muscle quickly breaks down into ammonia after death. I've never eaten it myself, but those I know that have didn't have anything good to say about it. It's edible in a pinch and not much else. Even among asian countries shark hunting is traditionally for the fin.
