Yeah but i read a theorie about them, where they got willed into the world by illuvatar, bc of the disonance in the song of creation from Melkor... that what inspired me to write the ff in the first place

I know. They also held back the armies of Rhun later in the story. Otherwise Gondor would have fallen before Rohan answered the call:)
Although his one of his end goals was survival, he was not afraid of death. If he died here in battle, he could kiss his future survival goodbye anyway.
