maybe he's 57th because he has only defeated two castles while everyone above him already destroyed two or more? just a possibility I guess
this feels like some weird and obscure form of Stockholm syndrome
wait, but didn't the beast tide already happen? the one for the reward that is
Was that reward for the beast tide ever addressed?
ah, what a happy couple... time to crack open a cold one and wash my sorrows away
Well if I remember correctly, that's essentially God level magic, so I would assume that it is safe to bet that he won't be using the full extent of that anytime soon
Could someone tell me how that's pronounced, cause I'm pretty sure what I'm imagining is incorrect
+20
I'ma go ahead and point something out real quick. Our dragon here is 2.5 meters tall (roughly 7 and 1/2 feet), this alligator here is 6 meter's tall ( roughly 18 and 1/2 feet), and remember we are talking about hight and not length. A lion may be pound for pound stronger than a hippo but that hippo will still body that lion in raw physical output any day of the week
It's funny to see how many people are getting upset about this apparent strength discrepancy. They just go out and ignore the fact the even now he is only an adolescent (essentially somewhere between 7 and 12 years old) and is not even half the size of the bear, so of course the bear that is fully mature and is over twice his size would be significantly stronger and even then he still killed that bear. I think the best way to look at this is he has the body of a pre teen dragon but the development of a 20 day old baby.
maybe he was talking about how this rejection will cause his head to be ejected from his body
ah yes, I use my abs for the same thing, quite convenient
Oh, those poor cabbages
yes. a trap. that's exactly what I was planning. definitely wasn't lost or anything like that haha...
Had a feeling this would go down in such a manner, guess those myriad races are about to go extinct.
It feels odd rating updating stability as the story is now over, but here we are. (Five starts by the way) To anyone just starting or here for the first time, trust me when I say this book is phenomenal. From when I first started to now at the end, I have never been disappointed, and neither will you.
Well, it's been a wild ride has it not. From waking up as a nobody slave for a terrorist faction to liberating his home world. From ascending to the skies as a hopeful savior to the leader of the greatest mercenary faction. From being a hero and savior of the people to becoming a god. From being a junkie keyboard warrior to an existence that saved untold billions of trillions of people. From a hero of hearts, to a transcendental figure of disbelieve. I have many mixed feeling's about this story ending as it is one of my favorites, on one hand I love how this ended and on the other hand I'm sad to see it go. If there is a sequel, I would prefer it not be HX's perspective, instead let it take place many hundreds of years in the future through the perspective of another young start up. Someone who can rise up to transcendence like our favorite MC, but at best only a close second to his level of power. Anyway, I've said to much by this point. To my last comment here, I bid you adieu.
Let me start by saying that I really enjoy this story, it has a solid premise and for the most part I can keep up with how things are playing out. That said, the writing quality itself is a touch sub par, the characters are somewhat shallow and you have to pay zero attention to the power levels because they are horribly inconsistent and never explained in any detail. That all said, if you want to have a nice read with a mix between cultivation and western fantasy then this is a nice read.
It seems I was wrong, he lasted four chapters
I believe this is what they call a power move
