The others followed, and no one mentioned Rouxi. Chenghai realized, distantly, that he hadn't thought about her since waking up, hadn't checked on her or wondered where she was. Zhenlan would handle it—he always did. Right now, the priority was the bodies.

I'd be downloading as many books, shows and movies as I could.
The thought sat in my chest like a weight. Medical equipment. Food. Water purification systems. Batteries. Tools. I'd taken a lot last night, but not everything. There were still gaps. Still items I needed if I was going to survive whatever was coming.

he also has arcanine as a fire type and a ponyta that helps out that he could catch later.
Groudon's magma would also be very useful for Fire-type Pokémon, but he only had Blaziken as a Fire-type, and he wasn't sure how to process a rock like that. If handled poorly, the energy leakage might be too severe and attract both the "big fish" and its true form, which would be a disaster.
