The first volume was something that I wrote with not much focus and sense of what I wanted this story to become. So you can ignore this chapter, although I did acknowledge that spaghetti and pizza did exist after this volume.

Author Rai here! To tell the truth, I didn't give much thought for the first volume. I was half-awake from a night shift job when I wrote this as some kind of absurd isekai story. It was only when I felt that I can take this seriously (by mid-2nd volume) that I gave it more attention and built it up like it is now. So yeah, I do appreciate that you are taking it seriously, but I was inexperienced and with no editors during this time. So please forgive me and I did pedal back to these inaccuracies in the later volumes.

Also, we had an issue with the translation here. The author wrote "temari" and in our confusion, we translated it as "soccer". It is not really wrong, just that people would probably think its an ultra-advanced and modern thing for a game about kicking balls around to be made by anyone. So yeah. Its Temari to be exact.

Spoiler . . . . . This is an alternate world. We didn't expect to perfect the historical accuracies so even though we are in the "historical" genre, this is an Isekai with only allusions or twisted forms of historical events or people.

Author Rai here! I do admit that I rushed here because I had more plans about the first volume in the remaining 7 chapters for this volume. I consulted this to my editors and they said that it really is rushed and very direct, but I believe that since this is a world-expanding story from the eyes of the MC, I wanted to make him feel like a small blot that in the grandscale of things, that makes him feel small but as he stands out more, becomes bigger. The three clans (Aoyama, Hikigaya and Fumikage) originated from the Misanagi clan. You can say that the Misanagi clan is the center piece of the unity between the three to keep them from coming into bitter misunderstandings and infighting within the province.
