I have read through all these comments. The only glaring issue I see is if you are truly interested in the story of a game, it is not unusual to know lots of plot points. My kid can quote some of her favorite lines in her favorite games. Then their is fanfiction, and what if scenarios, and trying to dig deeper into what is behind the story but isn't there. The deleted ideas that never made it to the actual game.. My kid will talk to me sometimes for hours about these things. If I get beyond bored but don't want to stifle her enthusiasm, then I pawn her off on my brother to talk to. They have a blast. So, to me, the part of the story you find most unbelievable is the part that I find the most believable. I actually could see my bro behaving like this, which actually makes the story more enjoyable to me.
