One thing I never understand with these novels is that no one ever learns their lesson. Every time someone causes a problem or is insulting and gets it thrown back in their face they always want revenge. They never think well that was fair we are even, they always ignore their original offence that they started and want revenge when someone gets even. They always think about how they suffered humiliation or injustice and never think about how they started it or caused injustice/humiliation and now they are even.
So if you want an average cultivation type novel with its own spin to it this story is average to below average. If you've read a cultivation novel before you should roughly know what this story will be like already. The translation quality feels like it's a rough draft. They get the point across but some of the words and phrases could be better. This can be a deal breaker for some but I was able to overlook it since I was looking for entertainment. The story itself is good enough, I would say the first 3/4 to 4/5ths of the story ranges from average to slightly above when it gets interesting. The last bit of the story ruins it for me. It feels extremely rushed and feels pretty abrupt and doesn't even have a satisfying concussion. It just gets to a point where they are unrivaled, gets rid of enemies, and then ends. That's how abrupt the ending is, no afterwards or anything to explain what happens or what they do when they essentially rule the universe. Overall I would give this story a 2.5, it's hard for me to go lower because most of the story is around a 3, but the ending is a 0.5 god awful.
he is able to read and speak 1-2 languages from this new world because of the memories that he has so I feel like this issue shouldn't be a thing.
I imagine they mean either great grandfather or grandfather on mother's side.
I definitely said he was 4 earlier
peaceful embrace!?! That is not at all how suffocating is, it's agonizing and it's not a slow prossess.
when the prince was standing up to his father they did mention that the previous king destroyed a town because they couldn't pay the high taxes
well there are still the rich and merchants that would make up the upper class it's not like it's strictly nobles. Also don't forget the priveous king usurp the throne so he probably killed off the priveous nobles since it seems like the nobles here all have blood relations to the king instead of there being multiple royal families.
I don't think it will be a problem here because it's not like they are going after the rich or governmental figures just novels who have abused their power. They also took all their assets away and there are still well know and praised figures in the government that started out as merchants so I'm sure they could help fix the issue if that problem occurred.
In the message it said they damaged his body. I assume d he would ask they system if his body/potential could be healed since I'm assuming his situation is similar to Daneel's father just less severe.
this is now at least the second time he has said this and every time after he says this he depends even more on the system than before
ya I wish we could get some kind of stat breakdown along with maybe some kind of breakdown of his system abilits that would have been very helpful especially with the time jump
Im cool with how the system works but i want to see more using the system to learn the stuff and then have the system guide/teach him how to do things on his own. He is too reliant on the system to do everything for him which i can see becoming annoying. I expected this to change after the fight with the priests where he even said he was becoming reliant on the system.
I tend to just skim over parts like that
I could have forgotten but if that was stated before the time skip then this could just be passed of as something that happened during those three years
