why do you think that he thought it would be more grounded to our current reality?lmao..he keeps mentioning terms likes wuxia and xinxia later in the novel and i dont remember exactly but may be earlier in the novel as well ...and a typical xinxia means dog eat dog world? and that's the reason i mentioned why he should have predicted what's going to happen next !
