Ah, you're one of those writers that like to write a main character without any agency. You'll make him a background character to prop up canon characters, eh? It's a bit cliche and overdone but it's easier than writing your own plotlines. Funny thing, it's so fast for him to lose his uniqueness and give away all his secrets. You know in the past, martial art masters don't willy nilly spread their arts? It's a very spiritual manner. Students and teachers are like family. Protagonist will always lose for the plot because the author uses idiot ball when he wants it. There are so many ways to bypass silver samurai if he uses his head and not try to overpower everything. It's just lazy writing.

But hopefully, this is not one of those fictions that the protagonist plan and then plan some more in tens of chapters to hundreds of chapters without going anywhere or accomplishing anything... Stuck in the staging plans before giving up on the story.

Well, I don't think Chinese authors have the intellect to think things through. So, it's no wonder the protagonist is brain dead as well. You can't write a character smarter than the author.
