Even the little time they sleep they physically cannot dream unless the Emperor communicates with them through dreams. Author's Note: Well, I am back fully, which means daily updates are back on the table (until the end of May when I have to undergo another surgery, but by then more than 100 chapters should have been published). (A/N: Hey everyone. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I don't normally like asking people for things, but my wife went into the doctor to schedule a surgery that she desperately needs. The doctor got her all scheduled and stuff, and they had to do some xrays. Well, my wife got the results back today, and the doctors believe they might have found a tumor in my wifes chest. We won't know for certain until we do some more tests which we have scheduled for tomorrow, but If you could, could you say a prayer for my wife? Also as I'm writing this I'm having trouble imagining Godrick in his armor. I've been seeing him in the armor of a Grey Knight Terminator from Warhammer 40k. I think it might be because I'm currently reading a fanfic of a space marine in the world of dnd. So I'd kinda like to have a vote with you all to see if you want to change the armor he is wearing. I'm listening to song as I read the scene
After the song finished I blew out the candle and my father began to slice the cake into pieces for everyone. Me and Peter were given the cake with nothing to eat it with. While Peter tried to pretty much ham-fist the whole thing into his mouth in one shot. I took my time and pulled pieces off one at a time until I was done. Peter looked like he had shoved his face and hands into the cake when he was done and I only had a couple of fingers dirty. My father and mother looked a little depressed that I didn't look like Peter when I was done, but they were happy to get a picture of me and Peter together. Author note: Normally I wouldn't add an excerpt like this but I got quite a few comments on the previous chapter talking about how Alex was being mean and rude. I feel like many of you don't seem to understand the sort of person Alex is despite my best efforts to all but point it out. He is a realistic pragmatist with a bad case of apathy. What this means is that he looks at the situation from an almost purely cold logical point of view. There was literally no reason why he needed to act friendly after deciding leave town , he acted nice while he was there because it makes things easier to get done smoothly , after leaving he had no reason to continue.
