Now the current form of "renewable energy" we have today is questionably efficient on top of being ineffective, as it is very conditional, tends to break down before we get it's full value of what we put unto it, and relies on very finite resources. While things like Biofuel are not efficient, there is at least so much of it that can possibly be made, especially out of stuff we don't use like algae that grows fast, that it covers that weakness.
