Sorry, forgot about this. I got my infomation from a peer review journal published by the University of Oxford, studying the skeletal remains of Englishmen thoughout history. I’m not talking about world averages, I’m purey talking about the average height for Englishmen circa 500ad. Looking at World averages seems pointless to me as it’s too broad of a spectrum to draw any conclusive evidence for a specific country, and England seems an appropriate country to focus on as it’s where the legend of King Arthur is based. But again, applying real world physics to a fantasy story seems ludicrous to me; the whole purpose of writing fantasy is that the auther decides the physics, not the reader, and it can be whatever they want as long as they stick to that concept.

Late to the party, I know, but assuming the story is set around the time of King Arthur (~500AD) then the average height was only 5’5”. So I don’t think an MC being 5’2” is that unreasonable, and anyone 6,2” would most likely be considered a giant. Also don’t understand why you’d use Earth 2020 physics to poke holes in a story set in a fantasy world??
