Thank you for reading! Your comment and reactions makes me so happy! Seeing the family fall apart and all the individual feelings regarding it is tough. It's hard to see the people we love in pain like this. Even writing that scene with Madoka, the struggle to talk to the person you love, but the fear of learning how they feel made me cry. If you look at the way she is, Ayumi is very selfish and she doesn't even seem to realize that. As if she can only see the world within how she feels and excludes everyone else. Even Mari was struggling in past chapters yet Ayumi didn't want to take those feelings into account. Yet the world has to stop for Ayumi if something is wrong. Madoka looked up to her, almost idolized her as someone she wishes to be but as time goes on the major cracks of the person she is have been coming to light. It's going to be interesting seeing how this family resolves their struggles. As this story focuses on the characters, we'll see what happens in the future. Thanks for reading, by the way. We also have to remember about Madoka, before her coma, she was a physically active person who was on the basketball team. I'm sure she used to eat well in order to have the stamina to keep up in those long, exhaustive games. With that mindset, we can see why she feels a bit guilty when over indulging because it goes against how she used to eat in the past.

The history is still vague for lore reasons but yes, thr Radiant Age is like BC or AD. It's a new chaptet in the world. That bega the question, how many years after the "Human" age is it? Mystery to be looked into as we go through the story.
Eve was right. I read in a book that they'd used to do just that. The population was far greater before, so they would consolidate space to make room for more business and such. But after the beasts started appearing, many of these places became abandoned. Humans don't have spectrum vessels, meaning they couldn't kill beasts at that time. Their modern weapons failed them, and they were forced to flee. Many of them died, and their population dwindled.
