That would be too much work. First he would have to look at so many cameras to see if a child/human got kidnapped (he could make an AI for that maybe) then he would have to call the cops and the cops would have to get there (which can take awhile.) Also the Mc can't save everyone/ fight people who are bad (child traffickers and other awful things) some humans are awful and like i said the Mc probably can't save everyone (but lets say that the Mc witnessed a child being kidnapped and doesn't do anything even though he has the power to that would be cold/heartless. As why would the Mc worry about others that he has no relation to.) I personally don't think the Mc is in the wrong here. (let's pretend (this is irl) that you have an ambert alert about a child kidnapping. You of course would feel sympathy but would you actually go outside and drive around to find the person. I sadly wouldn't unless of course I knew that person then i would do anything i could to try to find them) This is why I don't think the Mc is bad even with that manipulation. As while he did do it for a personal gain he still helped Bruce out when he was running away and if he let Bruce/Hulk just roam he may accidently kill people in a rampage so this is the best situation. I believe that the author grew up with really nice and awesome people( which is good) I still love the story though and i'll wait till the chapter that will explain why he is cold
