I liked them only to really see Shangs new powers. And what he had developed leading up to them. Since there used to not be such a huge time gap between trials it was interesting to see his new abilities. But since there’s a decent amount of time between his ‘level-up’ and his trial. I think they’r relatively unneeded besides the god dialog and maybe if he meets someone like mervin. But good choice on the rewards! As always amazing job Heat!

It all happened millions of years ago, in the realm of Gods, when her husband, who was now referred as 'The Forgotten', started questioning the Higher Gods about their unfair treatment of the lesser Gods in regards of the 'prayers' they receive from various worlds across the universe, which was like a power source which gave them the divine powers that they had, essentially meaning the more prayers a God received, the stronger the God will become.
