I might not really care about most what is being said, but I don't belive any devil will not take care about the murder of civilians in their territory. Primairly because it actualy is important that magic isn't discovered by the populas, guess what, mistirius disaperances and murders whould be a problem to that, specialy if it looks to be made my a spear that sudenly disapeared. Another reason that deavils likely wouldn't like civilians of their territory being killed by supernatural creatures is because of pride, you know the sin, most whould see it as an insult to their strenght, that whoever comited murder thought that they were better and could get away.
