Why would the forcefield help here? He is suppouse to bathe in the miasma.
With the continuous recovery of the Forcefield and alternating from his Poison Elemental Form to his regular self, William was able to delay the poisonous miasma's effects for the entire hour, albeit barely. - K_B_9216hCommented

I think the time for this ability should be lowered. Two seconds in a fight at that kevel is an eternity.

I don’t think he ever got a Soul Talent. It was only mentioned by the system that he could get it, but he never did.

Since the others would be coming with him, he had to make a few extra preparations to make sure they were as safe as possible. If he takes no damage for months on end, does he recover lost years? Or is it only a 5 year recovery after a month and no more?

Seems like each element has a resistance counter part. It seems like a much safer route to aim to aquire the chaos and time resistances before upgrading these elements … he won’t lose years that way …

He has no reason to rush to Ascending with centuries of lifespan. The bes thing to do is to farm PP, purchase talents from the talent shop until there aren’t any left then upgrading any talent that doesn’t require him to Acened like resistances and only after he has maxed out everthing he possibly can, then ascend.
