This is pretty weak so far, I hear it gets better later on, but I don't get why so many webnovels have to start off so unlikable before things get good. So far this MC is a giant emo chode, idk how long i can handle his cringe.

Why would he teleport to the ocean when he's fighting someone who's main power is water based...

Sorry but what Aether did doesn't compare at all to what she did. Raven was out of control at that time and was fighting not just the previous Dragon king douche she was hurting everyone around her in the fight. Also he had no idea it was even raven until it was over with, he just saw some insane out of control dragon. But Aqua literally killed a blind child because of a mental breakdown, that's really not forgivable at all and not comparable to what he did. I actually really like everyone in the harem so far and they are all pretty fleshed out and different for the most part, but I think you sadly missed the mark with Aqualina, even moreso now with this backstory, because if anything it makes a slightly unlikable character irredeemable.

So glad this empress and emperor were killed already, a few chapters is enough with their over the top villainy.

This backstory is a bit eyeroll, these are caricatures of people who are all obviously mentally ill, no one would care that much about a kid who has this type of neurodivergence o.O

Nah it's understanable and you make sense, sure the author is trying to logic his way out of what doesn't make sense if you truly love someone. If Selene loved him, she would do whatever she could, father be damned, same with the priest, because while it may cause some problems, you don't watch someone you truly love get beaten to a pulp by some little cunt.

We're getting close to 100 chapters and very little has changed for the MC. I probably should have dropped this long ago, but there were a bunch of comments talking about how it gets better etc etc. But having to wait 100+ chapters for the MC to not be a half retarded slave seems absurd at this point.
