It’s the hero, duuuh. For one, both he and Austin can’t evolve their shard. And two, the witch being an immortal probably helped the hero seal the demon. They probably predicted that the demon lord will return and so the system is their prep for that.

Don’t listen to him. It may seem that a lot of people are dissatisfied with Austin’s progress because of comments like these. But I think that most people are satisfied and because we are satisfied we don’t comment about his progress. The result is that only dissatisfied people comment and it makes it seem like everyone is complaining.

Yes, but that would be a lie because he is the combination of both egos into one. And since he doesn’t want to lie to her, then he simply shouldn’t. There is a difference between lying and having a secret. It’s not a bad thing to have a secret, even from your significant other. As long as the secret doesn’t involve something that would harm them, in which case Austin’s secret certainly isn’t harmful.
