So far this story's been adorable. The MC isn't some thirty year old office worker transmigrated, just a daughter sent by the gods to stop her father from killing civilians, and a treasured daughter at that. This is the most wholesome story I've read in ages so I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I have.

This story takes a spin on the "OP village girl returning to her hometown with all her superpowers and shit" and flips it on its head. Yan Xi is the OG daughter and she's back for revenge. And overall, it's a pretty good novel. Yan Xi has a lot of suitors but you can tell who the ML is pretty quickly, and from what I've seen so far he's SO much better than all the other guys. The rest of them are all those domineering CEO types but they're also kind of stupid, so you can just cross them out. The writing was done well enough for me to have a personal vendetta against them. I'm curious as to how the MC is going to deal with future issues that crop up.

It's been about three years since I last read this novel and when I finished the updated chapters I had to stare at a wall for a good amount of time to not be absolutely heartbroken because the novel hadn't updated in forever. Three years later it's still stick in my head. I haven't even thought of an ex boyfriend this long. Please update I'm on my knees 😭. On another note, I love this story, you guys should give it a read. MC's pretty cool and although I was suspicious of it just being a weird romance at first, the romance actually only really starts showing up around the thousandth chapter and then slows down again. The world building is pretty good and manages to flesh out the whole interstellar aspect through the mini plots that don't contribute much to the actual plot but end up making the whole story. Over the last three years the thing that's stuck with me the most was the sense of camaraderie between Ling Lan and her friends. Friendship is one of the things that stick with me past romance when I'm done reading a novel and though the romance in this novel was great and had me doing laps for the miniature part that it's there, the way the smaller stories with Ling Lan's friends were woven into the overall plot really brought the book to a whole new level for me. Anyways, I'm giving this book a 4.2 because while I find this to be my absolute favorite Chinese webnovel, the update stability just isn't there. Also, if you start reading this and wonder when Ling Lan will be revealed to be a girl, if you're a frequent dropper of books, don't worry about it you won't get that far; however, if you're going to finish the book, yeah it still doesn't matter. TLDR: please update, I'm writing this review out of desperation

actually when you write a book and put it under the female lead category it really only let's you mark it as romance and then for guys its always action
