You got a point there. I was mainly thinking along the lines of Quinn being a defend it of Amy instead of Gary. My thought process there was that Gary and Amy's mother's parents are never mentioned and who's to say that it couldn't have been Vincent. Also, the way I was looking at it was the energy issue. By awaking not only his Dragon heritage but also possible Werewolf as well to a company his Vampire blood that would help him control the energy even further. I'm currently reading it as well too and I'm really enjoying both of ya'lls work.

Anyone else hoping Quinn also has the Dem bloodline in him as well? What other way to create some new punishers than to awaken your werewolf DNA and Make a new pack using the Blades to keep the vampires in line.

I didn't think of it like that, but you're right. Especially since it uses the life forms vitality to make more parasites. No one would really care if he used a beast vitality till it died. This could also help him unlock his Trait which I could see being along the lines of him turning into a parasite himself to preform the assimilation process faster. Possibly even taking a single hour to assimilate an ability.

With new years coming up and you four chapters from chapter 100. I think a mass release would be awesome to kick off the new year.

Anyone else hoping Jay discovers how to use the parasites on beast? Like either to copy their skills, drain life force to add their energy to his, or take complete control over them to make them do what he wants them to do. Any of these options would be awesome.

The fact Owen is there makes me hope it's Morfran from MDS. Cause Morfrans desire would be to protect the Greylash family since their his blood line. It would make sense since he was left living in the spirit world if his soul was disfigured before ending up in the familiar world if they're not the same.

Also I feel like this new guy will have his ego shaken when he feels Derricks aura. I do feel like he'll be a great asset to Derrick tho.

I can see that. I think the reason it's based more around Rays red dragon form right now is because it's the first stage of this new power. I figure the more Quinn evolves it the more I can see it fusing with Quinns vampire nature. Like for instance his next evolution could have a mix of Crimson and Blood Red or Black Scales.

Now Quinn should be able to absorb beast crystals until he becomes a fully awakend Vamirec Dragon.
