that's because we are human. In a lot of stories creatures of the night are hunted and exterminated without the chance to talk or show if they are bad or good, there are also stories where beastkin, elfs and others suffer great prejudice and live harsh lives because of other races. This "purge" sounds like a genocide of humans and is indeed wrong, but it just sound so wrong because we are humans and on the losing end this time, if it were the other way around we would just accept it...

Cornnel is an asshole and I know that i will be angry with the yellow press thing, but I also like that he does have soething to deal with, he is an actor and till now everything is fine but they do have to deal with their share of nonsense from media, I think it makes the story more realistic...
