I'm reading thought this and this is kind of reminds me of the anime "I was reincarnated as a slime". Like seriously in that anime he eats/absorbs things to get stronger and if he eats something like a human he can turn into one, and he also has a voice in his head but no system

After one month, Leon finally managed to cover all the walls with steel plates, and since he had nothing better to do, he decided to practice his control over the spears while creating his first line of defense. While he was doing, he got attacked by a few groups of pterodactyls, but only that. He killed them, but he didn't find other tomes. I just realised that if his mana recovery was fast enough then he wouldn't have to worry about mana as it would just come back to him faster than he used it.
Once again, two months passed in the blink of an eye. Leon tried to endure the training and worked hard for two months without a pause, but then, he got sick of it. He got sick of eating nothing but plant leaves every goddamn day.
