they most likely aren't a chef, just a person blindly following a cookbook, freezing the food, and shipping it out without tasting it and trying to improve. Worshiping the '5 minute easy food' book like the God it is to most people here...

I'm not going back a chapter to read the speeds they were going, but I think this is meant to be billion and not thousand at the very least unless the trip was done within a handful of minutes...

I wonder if she thought about how shadows have 3 parts to them if you think about it. The first is the thing that is blocking the light, the second is the part between the thing blocking the light and there the absence of light touch objects (because you can't see it directly normally doesn't mean there isn't the absence of light over that distance), and finally the things the shadow is cast over. So maybe the concentration of her shadow may affect how well it works?
Still, it was an idea worth testing a bit. Lily tried to reach up with the plants shadow… but it refused. Glaring at the shadow Lily watched as she manipulated it along the ground… but it refused to lift up at all. *Right… well that sort of makes this feel useless. and yes, I know I'm a bit cringe and that I'm talking to a fictional character. But I do find reading random facts and watching videos about informative stuff fun to do from time to time.

Ironically, usually learning martial arts is more important for people with lesser strength and/or stamina. It allows you to be more efficient with movement (to use less stamina while fighting), to find and strike weak points (to end the battle sooner), and to also build stamina and some strength as you learn it. I will say that I'm not overly learned in martial arts myself (as I only have less than a year of training in kung-fu and wrestling combined from a pre-teen age, which is well over 10 years now), there are many kinds of martial arts that can fit your style as some of them don't require as much raw strength or stamina to get into.

I could kind of infer that. What I was talking about was that he was talking about his eldest brother. A half sibling is still a sibling, so that was why I was asking if he meant something else when it was said 'real brother'.

Kat grinned, and answered with "Probably because demon medical care means that permanent damage is much harder to cause?" in hopes of lowering the tensions a bit. Lily just sighed at the response knowing Kat was right. It seems her girlfriend is just going to be like that. Lily can only hope that once Kat goes up another rank or two she'll be able to pick less painful and dangerous training opportunities. - LightKnight_241mthCommented

*Is it safe to stay up here? The glare from the sun means that I can't really see what's underneath me… but staying up above the water seems like a great way to stay safe. It's not like they can see much from below either. Though I suspect the black blob that I'd look like from down there would still be fairly obvious if they look up. Nobody looks up though.
