I think a large part of it is that the alien races he's encountered have shown an unshakeable loyalty to their people and, to a lesser extent, him once he showed himself to be an ally. Humans, on the other hand, are greedy individuals who have no solidarity except when it suits their interests.

I see your point about unpredictability. I could've taken the detour from Russia since it opens them up to the zombie ambassador, but denied an ending to the Demon fight, thrown into the Throne Room and then into a parallel earth? it feels a step too far for me. I'd like a resolution to something before facing 20 more high priority problems.

So first we were going to Russia to get Evangeline's payback, then we fought the Mana Eater Tree, then we abandon Russia to go to the summit in Rome, then we go to the East Sea for Hero City, then we fight the pope and take his spear, then we almost kill the Demon of Corruption, THEN we get stuck in the center of Hero City with the Throne of Creation, THEN the assassination attempt by the Dragon lady, THEN BZ and Khristina (for some reason) are stranded in space, NOW A PARALLEL EARTH.... This story is going in too many different directions at once imo

His white hair became much shorter and got a faint blue glow at the tips, like the light of the moon as his eyes became much deeper, seemingly capable of drowning in them as in the biggest ocean. He was wearing dark blue armor whose edges were sharp and long as they practically cut into Virion's chest that remained exposed.
