Thanks for your review! I agree that the beginning was rushed quite a bit, especially the part where he unlocked his Sharingan. About Hiruzen "having five elements", when I described Izuna as having an affinity for three elements, I meant exactly that: affinity. As a strong shinobi with a lot of experience, Hiruzen mastered all five elements, but probably only had an affinity for one or two of them, the same way Kakashi had an affinity for lightning (and maybe earth) but could use all natures.

I sort of wanted to show that Izuna is emotionally stronger, but even then he is still affected by everything that happens. It's also too early for his Mangekyou, I don't want this to turn into an "OP MC" fanfic. Keep reading, I have plans for his MS in mind already!
