Bronz_Deck13d agoReplied to Leviathan_WNo, Canon is 1920+ otherwise they'd be in smack dab middle of World War I and half the characters would have gotten constipated. The 1913 timeline comes from the Red Light District arc being based on a real event but the Demon Slayer timeline is really vague on the matter and the event is really vaguely related anyway. If the Red Light District arc was 1913 Tanjiro would be in WW1 instead of the Demon Slayers.

The barrier is really tough and difficult to crack, and reflects damage back to the attacker too, the reason it took damage now is because the power difference between Grimm and the Cursed Spirit
