Usually I like this novel, but c'mon a little common sense never hurts

And lets not forget that the police are all trained professionals who are on the scene of active shooting but have 'not come to their senses yet' from the shock... pfft

So he's hurt and none of the professionals are attempting to stop the bleeding, secure the scene and such and are instead talking about bureaucracy and allowing civilians to remain on scene where more shooters can be present. Author, before writing action scenes, please inform yourself by watching crime/action movies, tv shows, reading books or at least attempt to think logically about a scene and not just focus on the outcome 'he man saved his woman and she grateful and feeling guilty he got hurt on her behalf will nurse him to health, stay by his side, forgive him everything and fall in love again'... -.-

Seriously? What is he, a Superman with supernaturally good hearing and sight that he could see a sniper? Are you kidding me? If hero-saving-damsel-in-distress situation was needed, at least make it more believable like one of the wounded enemies pulled a hidden gun to try and complete the mission or some such -.-

These rescuers are really slow and clueless... I mean don't get me wrong, I get that this is a romance novel, but while the elevator is on the bridge of falling down, nobody's interrupting their kissing, the ML and FL are wasting time arguing about who's going first(and she's supposed to be trained and level headed in any situation but still she's being stubborn and not decisive) and only when elevator slides more, do the rescuers even think about bringing the rope.. And then there's the ML's heroic act and everybody staring at them instead of pulling them up.. I mean, really???? -.-

Really awesome novel, strong FL (so far consistent in her strength). Very solid translation. BIG minus - very inconsistent translation. Often, there's no new chapters for prolonged periods of time. Honestly this is the only thing I feel like critiquing about this novel, everything else is great.

Not to mention before now, he never checked up on her

This FL's father is really bad.. I mean, what, couldn't he go back for the love of his life? Instead he let his mother steal his son from his mother and left.. He's not pitiful, he's just weak, unreliable man >[

When I'm reading all these novels It really makes me wonder if things are this bad in China - women not able to make decisions about their own body, being judged unfairly and victims (of bullying, slander and in some novels, r@pe) being punished instead of the guilty party that is rarely if ever investigated, chased and punished. I worry about what message do this novels send and how they affect people's opinions and thinking, because these things are just plain wrong

Dear author, do you maybe know how many chapters will hte snake story have? If you haven't plan on the total number, that's fine, too, I was just curious (mostly so that I know when to start anticipating new chapters for this novel :D )

I really hope this gets selected. The plot is very novel, as well as the development of the story. There's faceslapping but the plots are not forced nor idiotic ones that make no sense, these are much more realistic. Translation is also one of the best I've seen so far on wn. Everything is AWESOME! I really, really, really, really, really hope it gets selected +.+

Dear author, it might be a good idea to mark inner monologues differently from thoughts spoken out loud, it gets confusing when you mark them all with " " Aside from that, great novel! Almost as great as The CEO's loser wife: Rebirth of the villainous queen of alchemy! I kind of stumbled onto this snake novel while waiting for new chapters for my favorite novel ever (the queen of alchemy one ;) ) and I find I really enjoy your work! I can't wait to read more chapters of both +.+
