I mean, that's the base thought around the reason why capitalism succeeded and communism failed. This is called social Darwinism. It's something that was quite popular in the 20th century.
It's my fault for choosing to post here tbf. People on this platform expect repetitive novels posted daily, while I post less but take my time thinking about the plot and character development. It's just a problem of poor compatibility. Thank you for appreciating my work, though! Seeing someone enjoy it is what makes me go forth.
I can only gurantee it's going to be epic, and bring about a lot of drama and tragedy. But, as the evil authour I am, expect it to come a little at a time, in a progressing climax.
The point is that stages are the same for all realms. I also like the idea of comparing each realm to a day. Colours would still be achievement, with the idea that what colour one reaches is merely dependant on how well one does. Advancing through stages is almost a given, but achieving better colors come with more difficulty. That would also be the reason why many people reach bottlenecks. As long as one has enough time, stages aren't a problem. But if one hasn't worked well enough during the realm, they will result in having cultivated nothing, and thus getting stuck.
That's a great question! In fact, that's something that I am willingly leaving open right now. Anticipations: the next chapter might give you some insight to this question. But only with time will your question be answered fully.
You just got a little chuckle out of me. Well, for now he doesn't really make money. But things might be about to change...
Noted. I'll try avoid walls of text in the future.
I'll mark this down and work on it once I'll review the whole novel. Thank you for telling me.
Well it is a hobby for me first and foremost. Also, if I tried to force myself to write more, I feel like the originality of the work would diminish. Every chapter is the result of a week's worth of ideas. And that's without including all the work I put in behind the scenes, planning the story far ahead. My set goal with this novel is to write a work inspired by Eastern Fantasy (chinese xianxia especially) that isn't as cliché as many of such works. So, I doubt I could ever post much faster than my current rate. I hope to start publishing twice weekly in a while, though. But I don't think I can go beyond that while keeping this a hobby.
That's a great question, but the point it, it's like when you are waiting for a delivery... You just can't wait to start, right? Or when a new game you are hyped about is coming out. For him it means that he had to wait 9 months without being able to do anything. He probably has done other stuff outside, but it's not as if it's as fun as exploring a brand new world.
Don't worry, they'll come! I'm a spear fan as well. We'll for sure see spear and halberd action in the future.
Anyway, thank you for expressing me your opinion. As for what's going to happen, I think for a few chapters they will part ways, but it's not going to last long term for sure. I'm sorry if it feels slightly forced, but for plot's sake I wanted them to split for a while. I'm sure you're going to realise soon enough why I separated them. That said, see you saturday with the next chapter.
It's more like the sense of betrayal of her putting so much trust in him, and yet he didn't tell her anything. She thought of him as her confidant, yet she didn't know anything about him. And when she outright asked him, he lied. What purpose does a confidant you don't trust serve? Plus, kids hold grudges as much as adults do. At least from my experience. If not more. At least a few childhood friendships ended over some trivial matter.
