It depends on the reader's mindset, though I admit this story of mine is far from polished, just imagine that your DM is narrating what you did in a past session to you.

You can probably throw canon out the window since I decided to follow FeralG3's wishes for the story, he wants the North stronger, so they are, he wants that magic is used more often, so it is, I understand that it can be a bit difficult to read if one is versed in the details, but I did ask you guys to suspend your disbelieve as much as possible for this one. As for the Osric's age and the date: [Age 8] [288 AC] Osric is Robb's fraternal twin brother, and his strength is as you probably already guessed drawn from the wolfblood. For the story I will be going with the following ages. Osric: 8 Robb: 8 Sansa: 4 Arya: 2 Bran: 1 I get why you're concerned since my other story can admittedly be quite slow, but some of these changes FeralG3 wishes for do need a bit of time to set up, though I'm honestly doing my best here, not to disrespect FeralG3 of course. It's not easy, one of his ideas involved that the Ice we all know and love was forged around the time the Wall was created, which would simply be impossible without massive changes to literally everything. And I can only ask you guys to suspend your disbelieve so much till it's just pure nonsense. For those who don't know, if Valyria existed 3.000 years before it did in canon the Seven Kingdoms would have never even existed as one nation since the Valyrian Empire would have claimed Westeros long before the doom. But that isn't what you will read in the story because we changed that idea so that simply the earliest iteration of Ice was created during Brandon's time, a small change that saved the story before it even begun, in my opinion. I hope I could clear up at least a few of the issues you had with the first three chapters.

Thanks for the comment, Roselian, I understand that such smaller things might be hard to recognise if one isn't a native English speaker, but the story is actually written in second person. First person normally uses the pronoun (I), while second person uses the pronoun (you), and third person uses (he/she), so the (you) isn't actually addressed at you the reader, but is rather us following Azami and Ayna as if we had access to their Minds. :D

You're right in saying that there are a lot of people that drop the story because I decided to use the second person to tell it, but the story is still part of some 800 collections and gets around 5.500 views per chapter, so it's not like there isn't an audience for it. I can only give you the same advice I have given most people that disliked my use of the second person, just try to imagine that it's your DM narrating a past session to you, GraySerpent.

Thanks for the comments, Litago, just wanted you to know that I'm not really notified if someone comments under a comment, simply so you know it for the future. The current year (Chapter 33) was 274 AC, and the reason for why Joanna is still alive and Tyrion is nowhere to be found is that the Lannisters have split from the Crown a good bit earlier than they have in canon. The reason being that I'm one of those guys that believe that Tyrion, as awesome as he is, had more dragon than lion's blood in him, which the King never managed to achieve as Azami altered the timeline by being her usual self.

The same question came up before, so I will just copy the answer for you. 'It was one of the Marble Statues she entertained herself with, it's not a real one if that's what you mean. :D '

With the little Cub as new Companion, you make your way back to your Chamber a bit earlier than you had originally planned, and sit down on your Bed to take a closer look at the odd Statue. The small Lion still looks smooth to you, just like all the other Statues did, but as soon as you Touch it the Marble deforms itself into something that actually looks like fur. And so, as if it was nothing, your small Companion defies your Sense of Logic until it reforms the moment you decide to take your Finger away from its Body again.

I struggle a bit with the capitalisation of the English language, if you look up the story on YouTube you can listen to a small text to speech audiobook version I put together where you won't have to endure my capitalisation mistakes. :D

Many feel that way when they first read something that's written in second person, though there is a little trick that most of the time seems to help with the feeling you're describing, just imagine that it's simply your DM that's narrating what your character did in a past session to you. :D

Do remember that Azami isn't perfect, she's just a warlord and so her solution to most problems is a bit more direct than might be advised, and so she simply doesn't care that throwing silver at people can create new problems. Though that being said, food is more precious than anything else during the winter, so the issue of inflation is naturally unavoidable, and thus it will simply be ignored by the nobles anyway.
