i just love this story, don't know why its not completed on webnovel but I managed to find a completed version and although there was a bitter sweet ending I still loved it

I'm pretty sure it was mostly intended as a joke/banter, I don't see Ketis doing something so childish for no good reasons. Also, Gloriana has some bad moments and did things worse than Ketis throwing a jab at the clan leadership... remember when she was arguing with Ves in front of the entire design department because she was jealous? or when she didn't allow him to sleep in the same bed in front of their guards? what about those things? imo I don't like Gloriana that much, and not bc of her hexer background, but because of her characteter and bc she acts like a spoiled brat a lot of times...well given how she was given everything on a silver platter since birth considering she was to be the scion of her dinasty I get why she's like that, but she needs someone to help her become more mature already.

An addendum here related to the glow and disadvantages: With the dual design spirit, the pilot will passively have better reactions than usual but by a small margin, also all attacks made on weaker targets will be weaker than usual; whilst attacks made on targets that are on the same level will be slightly boosted. The glow of the mech will have two effects, first of all, it will feel oppressive to strong individuals and accomodating to weak individuals, and also everyone inside the glow of the mech will feel as though time passes slower (due to a small increase in their thinking speed).

Congratz on 3k chapters Exlor! Design spirit idea: Double Chimeric Dragon. There's a bit of context here first, as this should be a 2 design spirits in one, and it would be tied into a small Swordmaiden training arc as follows: Ketis and Dise talk to Ves about going to a planet that has multiple exobeasts so that the new Swordmaidens can take the traditional examination, ofc they will do this with a safety net so that they don't lose new recruits but the ones that succeed will become elite Swordmaidens and the others will remain as ordinary Swordmaidens. On the planet, Ves decides to use the Aspect of Transcendence on some of the Exobeasts and is mostly unsuccessful until a mutated "insert planet name" dragon develops a spiritual attribute, actually two spiritual attributes as the mutation of the dragon (prior to being exposed to AT) is that it has two heads, and each head will have its own spiritual attribute. The double-headed dragon however if very feral and doesn't listen to Ves (maybe a downside of using the aspect?); so Ketis and Dise suggest as an additional examination for the most promising recruits of the Swordmaidens that have already slain their exobeasts with ease to kill the dragon. The dragons' heads are very different, one looks healthy and is much larger and the other one is shriveled and much smaller; the large head has excellent positioning in battle and controls the body as if it sees through its opponent moves while the small head doesn't do much except once every few minutes releases a very powerful slim beam that can cut through most defenses, even though Unyielding alloy. The most gifted of the new Swordmaiden recruits take the challenge to slay the beast and Ves harvests the two spiritual fragments, but he ends up with a conundrum, the two fragments deteriorate when not together, so although they are two different fragments they cannot be used separately. The design spirit would be perfect for Davia Stark's expert mech as it fits with her philosophy of hitting above her level and "Eternity" would be incredibly useful to a long-range sniper pilot like her. Honestly, I would like for the two spirits to have their own ratings, but I've included a mutual rating for both if it's too much to have separate ratings; I've considered adaptability as the ability of the pilot to adapt the ability to their own uses whilst ability diversity as the ability of the design spirit to encompass different modules of the mech (ex: Judgement of the Meek can be added to all kind of ranged weapons as well as melee weapons but it does only one thing so it has a score of 0 in adaptability and 3 in ability diversity) Judgment of the Meek (conditional, the Ability power scales from 1 to 7 based on the difference between target and attacker) Intelligence (0/10) Adaptability (0/10) Ability Diversity (3/10) Ability Power (7/10) Eternity Intelligence (5/10) Adaptability (5/10) Ability Diversity (0/10) Ability Power (0/10) Both Fragments as one: Intelligence (3/10) Adaptability (2/10) Ability Diversity (2/10) Ability Power (3/10)

Slim chances, as mentioned in a previous chapter she was at the MTA sector hq welcoming Ketis as a journeyman mech designer so she shouldn't be close to the Larkinson fleet; however the MTA has some crazy tech so after giving Ketis the tour she might have bolted towards where the clan is to keep an eye on Ves.

I'm pretty sure they will show up soon, there was a paragraph where the wrecks of Ves's mechs were teleported away when the mad revolution started so I'm guessing that the MTA has a stealth ship following Ves.

Although Ketis didn't win the tournament she won something more valuable, becoming a swordsmaster is something that even previous winners of the tournament didn't necessarily achieve. Yet she did it, in front of millions! Also I have a suspicion that she even advanced to journeyman or is very very close! On a different note, the demands of the Hsworders are meaningless, its Ves that decides and even if Ketis will probably have a higher standing in the clan she won't be able to do anything decision making-wise by herself.

I can't wait for the moment Ketis's breakthrough to Journeyman, she will have so many sword related insights that the cristalization of her design philosophy will impress even Ves. Also, I'm pretty sure she will set some kind of precedent bc her mechs will be unusually strong for a journeyman, similar to Ves. Also, rooting for Ketis and Ves to make a masterwork/masterpiece mech, probably for Sendra (if I'm not mistaken she's a mech pilot)

So what I gather from the previous chapters to master the Annihilation Sword Style you must have only the thought that your sword will destroy everything...now Ketis will bring thousands of disciples that are willing to maintain that thought while training, if only there was something that would make people hold only one thought and allow them to take a path that allows them to develop a nascent spirituality... OH WAIT!!!

He doesn't insta heal, he gains a boost in his regeneration that brings him to full hp faster...but the more hp you have and the more serious the injuries, the more it will take. At least that's what I gather from how it was described in the initial chapter, I think only mana is fully charged on level-up.

And I will read that chapter with a big smile on my face, like I usually read chapters from this novel :D

After this chapter, I have a feeling that if Ketis trully shows her powers she might get forced to stay and Ves might jave to plan a rescue for her. Maybe with a prime bio-mech made for Joshua.

with the unending sword Ketis will be able to use more of her powers, given its a spiritual conductive material. I bet that all the seeded participants also have similar swords

I'm pretty sure Ves already has an idea about something like this, I mean that guy from the Compact that he killed with his mom was able to move through hundreds of lightyears on his own, and he didn't have to be a mech pilot for that... also his mother survived after her body died and can do a lot of spiritual shenanigans, she also fought with the dark gods... so Ves already knows that mech god pilots and star designers are not everything there is out there

Why do I have a feeling this guy has some prestige in Heavensword and he will want to join the Larkinsons, bringing with him a large following to the clan, thus increasing both the numbers of the Swordmaidens and the Larkinsons

With Ves and the spirit of the Aurora Titan that has spatial powers I think this might happen at some time. Of course, Ketis will have to become a better spiritual engineer to do so, but I can definitely see it happening.

top 1000? Ketis my dear you should aim for top 10! Although my secret wish is that Ketis wins the festival, I've already seen how the author blends pragmatism into the novel and I already know that it will be almost impossible for her to win. That being said, top 10 should be a good outcome for her and the Swordmaidens, and if that happens maybe Angelica will also join the Larkinsons, wouldn't say no to another journeyman mech designer

I don't really see that as cheating, his entire philosophy is related to morphing bio-mechs so that stunt he pulled with the mini-mech that shed its skin fits with his design philosophy. One could argue that Ves did the same, but he interfered while tye duel was ongoing...plus he took un-needed risks while he did that.

I can't wait to see the result, honestly it should be a 10-0 win for Ves, but its probably not going to be like that due to politics reasons...one can only hope. That asside... why did Ves have to do what he did in the last match... I really don't understand, sometimes Ves acts like a teenager, he simply wanted his "toy" to be better, there's no other reason that I can see. He is a 30yr old, has been the patriarch of his clan for what? 1-2 years now? He also was the manager/CEO/owner of his own company for 6 or more years now and he also spent 2 years in the military... he should understand how to make rational decisions and how to suppress his emotional side, I mean I get his competitive spirit and all but he still went to far because he "cheated"... Honestly this is why he's not really my fav character in this novel, because he has these childish tendencies. Joshua best waifu and Ketis best husbando, they are currently my fav characters; author-san please don't do anything bad to them.
